I’m starting this fundraiser for a very special woman in my family — my daughter’s Gigi who has spent her entire life helping others and asking for nothing in return.

Due to a knee injury and bad arthritis, she’s been unable to work as she normally would and has fallen behind on some bills. Right now, she’s facing about $1,500 in overdue electric, cable, and phone bills — electric being most important, especially with the storm coming.

She didn’t want her name shared because she’s embarrassed to ask for help, but anyone who knows her knows she is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation. She’s always been there for others, and now she needs a little help getting through a rough patch.

She just needs some help catching up to get back on her feet. Every dollar raised will go directly toward keeping her utilities on.

As some of you know, I recently lost my mother, so I’ve been out of work and short on money myself, or I would absolutely give every dollar I have to her as she truly deserves it.
