Like the woman in the Bible, my mother had an issue of blood for 3 1/2 years. The woman in the Bible had this problem for 12 years. After years of losing iron, the body will start to reserve all nutrients for the core and vital organs. We can testify that the nails, skin, and hair are sacrificed to keeping the body working.

My mom lost most of her hair, and her nails curved up and were very painful. She started putting colored fibers on her scalp, and when that became a problem, she tried a wig. She got a wig during Covid and when things were lifted, she was able to enter the world with her new look. That wig is getting old and worn. I've been growing my hair for a long time to gift her a new wig, but then I found out how expensive it would be. Our natural hair is the same color and I've found some companies that will make her a wig with my hair. It runs from $1600 to over $3000.

My mother is the sweetest, most selfless woman I know. She is always putting others before herself. I'm hoping that it's my turn to repay her.
