Eight years ago, our lives were turned upside down in ways I could never have imagined. What was once a stable and happy home for my children and I was shattered, leaving us to pick up the pieces and fight for the safety, stability, and peace every family deserves.

Since then, it’s been a long, exhausting journey — filled with setbacks, sleepless nights, and moments where hope felt far away. But also with triumphs, chances taken and no regrets. I went back to school to give us a chance at a better life, Gia started Karate, loves Harry Potter and her family.

Gia has been my light. Her resilience, kindness, and laughter have kept me going, even when the road felt impossible.

Now, for the first time in years, we have the chance to move into a safe, healthy home where Gia can grow, dream, and feel secure. But we’re facing a hurdle: we need help covering the security deposit and basic furniture to make this space everything we ever dreamt of.
