We are Giving Hope Gardens, a DBA of the Buck Creek Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with a heartfelt mission: to provide job skill training and meaningful employment opportunities for adults with disabilities. GHG is a retail nursery/greenhouse nestled in the small town of Loris, South Carolina.

Nestled in Loris, SC, we've transformed an abandoned property into a flourishing plant nursery and greenhouse. This special place isn't just about growing plants—it's about growing potential, independence, and community.

What We Do:

We believe that everyone deserves a chance to BLOOM. Through hands-on training in horticulture and nursery operations, we empower our interns to develop job skills and life skills that build confidence and open doors to a brighter future. Beyond the work itself, our program fosters social connection, a sense of accomplishment, and a deep sense of belonging.

Why We Need Your Help:

To continue our work and expand our impact, we need your support. Funds raised through this campaign will help us:

Upgrade our facilities—complete our classroom addition, restore and maintain the greenhouses and nursery grounds to ensure a safe, accessible, and vibrant environment for our interns.

Expand Training Programs—invest in tools, equipment, and supplies to teach a variety of skills in horticulture and retail.

Provide Transportation—offer reliable transportation to/from the gardens for those who may be unable to participate.

Hire Support Staff—bring on skilled staff to mentor and guide our interns.
