Help GG's House in Creating Community Haven
Tax deductible
At GG’s House, our mission is simple; to extend a helping hand to those facing hardships in our community. Each week we assist 200-450 individuals by providing a variety of essential services, from clothing and meals to hygiene items, medical equipment, school supplies, donate 2000 pounds of food to local food banks and more. We believe in inclusivity, offering our assistance to anyone in need, regardless of their backgrounds, circumstances, race, or religion. Our beneficiaries include schools, nursing homes, home health agencies, individuals without homes, families, veterans, hospitals, and many others.
We’ve found a potential new location for GG’s House in Forest Grove, aligning with our vision after years of searching. In order to realize this vision we are hoping to raise $1,950,000. Our dedicated volunteers have helped identify key features for our new home:
● Efficient Inventory Organization: Enough space for organized and safe storage of donations.
● Functional Kitchen: A space for meal preparation and culinary education.
● Second-Hand Store: A dedicated area for job training and skill-building.
● Laundry Facilities: Facilities for our homeless friends to wash their clothes at no cost.
● Hygiene Facilities: Free access to showers and restrooms for basic hygiene needs.
● Community Garden: A garden space for responsibility and fresh produce.
● Shelter Space: Room for a large tent for shelter during extreme weather.
● Multipurpose Conference Room: A space for workshops serving our clients and community.
At GG’s House, we aim to provide a supportive space for our guests, whether they’re transitioning from homelessness, seeking job skills, or looking for community support. We believe in transparency, especially when asking for your financial help. We’re open about our operating costs as well as the number of people we assist. We’re always here to answer your questions.
To realize this vision, we need your support. We’re aiming to raise $1,950,000 to purchase the building and establishing our new home. While it’s a significant amount, we believe that every contribution, big or small, can bring about meaningful change when we unite as a community.
At GG’s House, our community is a vibrant puzzle, each individual a unique piece that contributes to a greater whole. Just as every piece is crucial in a puzzle, every member is essential in our community.
We’re thrilled to share that every donor contributing to our fundraising campaign will hold a special place in our community puzzle and a distinct spot on our new building’s walls. Your generosity will be commemorated, signifying your dedication to positively impacting those in need.
Join us in piecing together our community puzzle. Together, we can form a stunning mosaic of hope, love, and support that will stand the test of time. Thank you for being an indispensable piece of our puzzle.
