GoFundMe Fundraiser Story for Goodies & Growth Enrichment Center (GGEC)

Hello, my name is Swanetta Dunn, and I am the Founder of Goodies & Growth Enrichment Center (GGEC) — a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Philadelphia dedicated to feeding families, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, and bringing hope back to our community.

Our organization provides organic food, emergency support, clothing, hygiene supplies, youth enrichment, and outreach to vulnerable families and individuals who are struggling to survive. Every week, more and more people come to us hungry, displaced, or without basic necessities. Many are children, seniors, or families caught in crisis with nowhere else to turn.

This winter season, we provided 50 organic turkeys and essential groceries to families in need — but the need is far greater than our current resources. As a brand-new nonprofit, we are funding almost everything out of pocket. We urgently need support to continue offering healthy food, weekly outreach, and emergency essentials to those who depend on us.
