HELP get WATER for Rio Verde Foothills Residents

Donation protected
Hello, we are the Rio Verde Foothills Standpipe District, an all-volunteer group.
Approximately 750 families that live in the Rio Verde Foothills (RVF) in the Sonoran desert of Arizona depend on water hauled into their homes to live. There are no public water or sewer systems in the RVF. Due to drought conditions in the desert, on January 1, 2023, the primary source of that life-giving water was turned off. Since that time residents of the Rio Verde Foothills have had to depend on rainwater when available, and any other source they can find to get water. Imagine, having to decide whether to flush your toilet or have enough water to cook! To take a shower, residents have had to join a gym miles from their homes.

The Rio Verde Foothills Standpipe District (RVFSD), and five directors, all volunteer, was established on June 19, 2023, via Arizona Senate Bill 1432, to provide an emergency water solution to residents of the Rio Verde Foothills. Our Website is rvfsd.org.

Please donate what you can to help the RVFSD pay for its legal, insurance, and other expenses necessary to get water to its residents.
