On Saturday, April 11th, my mother had a house fire. Minimal damage was made in one electrical outlet. However, she and my brother, who has MS, have been displaced due to old wiring that has to be replaced. They can't go home until then. We haven't gotten a for-sure price yet, but it will be a huge expense. Once we get the quote, I will change the goal amount. They do have places to stay right now, so they are OK. They are both disabled with very limited income and could use some help that she has absolutely never asked for before. If anything, she is the most giving woman who helps whenever she can.
