Help get Koala Ferries back on the water!

Stacey Lambton and her young family bought Koala Ferries three years ago to keep this important transportation available for the Tilligerry Peninsula community.

Stacey says they wish to revive some of the old ferry rides that were once the only means of transport in and out of Nelson Bay. They also want to work with other tourism operators to showcase the wonderful waterways and shorelines the area has to offer, a great initiative from a local couple looking to provide a welcoming community service while running their business.

After only running for just over two years, the vessel had an inspection that resulted in repairs being required that were quoted to cost $10,000.

Costs have since doubled to over $20,000!

Stacey is struggling to pay the bills. She has a young family of five children and has taken many jobs to try and pay for these substantial repairs.
