My name is Faduma Hassan and I am standing to be Labour's candidate for the London Assembly seat of Barnet and Camden.
But politics is expensive and working class candidates shouldn't be priced out.
That's why I need your help.
I have just a few more days to reach my goal of £4,500 to help pay for leaflets and Facebook advertising to reach the 10,000 members in Barnet and Camden that I need to speak to in this selection.
For the GLA to become a powerful campaigning force for all Londoners, more working class candidates need to stand. City Hall needs people who know the issues, because they too have faced them.
I am a Labour councillor, former teacher and committed socialist. I am proud to have the backing of Unite the Union, Momentum, Diane Abbott, John McDonnell and to have been nominated by union branches and CLPs, including Hendon and Hampstead and Kilburn. I hope to win your support too.
