Help Us Raise the Jupiter Barn!

Hey folks!

Richmond's first safe, private microtheater is coming SOON! We are planning to be up and running with LGBTQ+ community programming and events starting with a multimedia storytelling hour on May 14, 2023. Learn more about the Barn!

As we have been preparing the Barn structure for creative work, we hired an electrician to get safe, up-to-code power out in the building. We got a great bid from a local electrician we trust. He even let us get the cost down by digging the trench for buried wire ourselves!

With this electric line, which cost just north of $900 for professional installation, we now have 10 outlets to power the Barn's lighting, A/C, recording equipment, and more! We are still working on finishing the build-out, working with passionate collaborators from within our local LGBTQ+ community and buying materials whenever we can't find donations or salvaged supplies. Anything you can give will help us continue making the Barn a safe, functional space for marginalized artists.
