Help Gerry Ward get back on his feet

On the 15th February Gerry Wards home in Rathmullan Donegal caught fire by freak accident and despite Gerrys best efforts to get it under control unfortunately he had to admit defeat.
The home is beyond his financial abilities to repair as a 76year old man living alone.
This has been a horrendous year for us all but one thing we realised is that we have a great community who helped pull us through and now I'm setting up this page to help Gerry, with permission from his family.
Gerry will need to buy absolutely everything as he got out with only the clothes on his back.
We also want to try cover the costs of the multiple fire services that helped to extinguish the flames. He is one of the good guys of the world and he deserves our help so even if you can donate a euro or so, lets help him get back his independence.
