Geraldine is diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer which has spread to her spine, causing her to be bedridden. She is full of life and dreams, loves to travel, and be with friends. Cancer took away all that she loves to do in her life, but she wants to fight. She had her radiation and chemo. Now she is admitted to the hospital due to pneumonia and possible Mets to her lungs. We know that this fight is hers alone, but she is asking for some time. Right now, the emotional and financial burden of treatment is overwhelming.
