Hi! I’m Cassie, Georgia’s mom, and I’m helping her turn a simple act of kindness into 200 snack packs for local kids.

While volunteering at the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry in New Melle, Missouri, Georgia noticed plenty of staples like corn and green beans, but fewer snack options for children. She wondered about kids heading to school or spending school breaks at home—and whether they had snacks to enjoy. That inspired her Snack Packs of Kindness through her volunteer project, Grace with Georgia.

On December 5, 2026, Georgia, her friends, and fellow sixth graders will come together to sort donated snacks and assemble packs for our local St. Vincent de Paul food pantry. Her goal is 200 snack packs, requiring approximately 1,000 individually wrapped snacks.

Our fundraising goal is $1,000, based on an estimated supply cost of about $5 per pack. Any amount helps us purchase individually wrapped snacks such as fruit gummies or fruit strips, kids’ protein bars, granola bars, crackers, and pretzels. Processing fees reduce the amount available for supplies, and donated snack items will also help us reach our packing goal.

I will receive and manage the funds. All funds received after processing fees will go toward snack-pack supplies. Any funds beyond what we need for the first 200 packs will be used to make additional snack packs. The completed packs will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry for distribution to kids and families.

Please contribute by December 1, 2026, so we have time to purchase supplies before packing day.
