Help Georgia Evans Bring Clean Water to Guatemala
Tax deductible
Hi, I am Georgia Evans, founder of Village Care Project. Wanted to reach out for help to buy water filters as I visit remote villages in Guatemala this November 2025.
My goal is to get at least 100 clean water filters into 100 homes to help alleviate the chronic health problems these people face with dirty, unsafe drinking water.
These are the poorest of the poor, and they live without any safe water infrastructure, so they gather water wherever they can find it.
Waterborne illnesses, like cholera, dysentery, giardia, and typhoid caused by drinking contaminated water, are a significant cause of illness and death in Guatemala, particularly among children.
According to UN and UNICEF data, 44% of households in Guatemala lack access to a safely managed water supply, especially in rural areas.
Poor water quality has also resulted in immense food shortages and increasing malnutrition among children in Guatemala.
Can you help us buy clean water filters to help Guatemalan women and their families? Everyone deserves to have safe drinking water!
I will be personally delivering them and giving them instructions on how to assemble, use, and maintain their new clean water filter tool!
I believe in giving people tools so they can help raise themselves up.
I cannot do this without you!
