It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of George Chan. George was a loyal Army Vet, a badass, and above all else a jokester even if he was the only one laughing at his own jokes. After a long 18 year battle with his health and fighting hard in the hospital for the last 107 days his battle is finally over and he can rest peacefully.

George was born October 29, 1958 to Pak Chan and Corlina De Jesus in New York, New York. Until they moved to Los Alametos, CA where they resided with his parents, Older brother Nelson, and his 3 little sisters Susie, Julie, and Lucy. Growing up on Sepulveda Blvd and attending Broad Ave, then Wilmington Jr High and later on attended Banning High school where he graduated in 1975. Then immediately jumped on a plane to South Carolina where he signed up for the military his branch was United States Army where he served his country for the next 30 years.

George is survived by his wife of 35 years Monica (Solorzano) Chan, his 3 children George David, Nickolas Matthew, and Christina Lian and His grandchildren Andrew and David.

George's memorial services will be held at:
