This time of the year is hard for All restaurants - and NC restaurants are struggling and some have even closed permanently since Hurricane Helene.

As you may have heard there is not much help or financial assistance coming from FEMA.

Main street grill is having a hard time reopening/recovering from the loss of income since hurricane Helene.

The government may provide loan options but that has been delayed for the unseeable future.

We are asking you to please continue to share the go fund me and help the Main Street grill family push through.

Porter is traveling by to SC to load up a Freight Truck with Food, warm jackets, and supplies to be distributed at Main Street Grill in Weaverville for the NC community.

He would like to continue to help his community with Free meals and supplies, but needs your help!

Porter and his restaurant family have been working without income.

Every little bit helps to keep the restaurant going.

Main street grill needs 15k in inventory and help supporting its staff and their families. Also, they need gas for the generator.

We are looking to borrow a generator to continue to cook free meals at Main Street Grill in Weaverville, NC.

They do not have power - but do have gas.

Staff is volunteering to help serve people and the are taking donations of fresh food to cook and supplies/non perishables for people to take.

They do not have electricity for cooler/freezer etc.

Hi Everyone,

I am reaching out for help for my family in Alexander/Weaverville, NC. Hurricane Helene has completely destroyed Asheville and surrounding towns. My family is in Alexander, NC, where most areas have been completely wiped out. Roadways are gone, businesses and homes are underwater. It’s going to be a long, long time before anyone sees any type of normality again.

I have not heard from my family, Porter and Erin, and their sweet three little girls who live in Alexander, NC.

My brother Colin, who lives in Johnson City, TN, was not able to reach them by phone or car.

All roadways are gone or flooded, or trees are down.

Porter and Erin own a small restaurant, Main Street Grill, in Weaverville, NC, and Colin works for them.

They are all currently without any income, and recovery in the area is unknown.

Please help however you can.
