My dear friend, Gabrielle, a single mom of two children, is being sued for full physical and legal custody by her ex-husband, a criminal defense attorney. She was a stay-at-home mom during her marriage and has little money to her name, while her ex-husband has the financial resources and professional experience to drag her through the court system. Now remarried to a fellow attorney, he is arguing that their traditional marriage and superior standard of living make him a more worthy parent.

This is an unfair fight. This is David and Goliath.

Gabrielle needs and deserves our help so she can retain custody of the children she loves and has always been devoted to. A custody hearing is looming, at which a trial date will be set. We have to get some money in her hands as soon as possible because the clock is ticking.

All proceeds will go toward hiring an experienced family-law attorney to defend her against her ex-husband’s attempt to take her children away from her. Any funds raised in excess of legal fees will be donated to a local women’s shelter.
