Hello, my name is Gabriela and I am creating this collection to help my dad, who has been hospitalized for several weeks due to a serious medical complication.

It all started when he arrived at the hospital with a strong pain in his stomach. At first he was diagnosed with gastritis and sent home with treatment. However, the next day the pain got worse intensely and he couldn't stand it anymore, so he went to a gastroenterologist. There they informed him that he actually had an inflamed gallbladder and that he needed emergency surgery, so he was immediately sent to the emergency room.

In the hospital they performed multiple tests, CT scans and studies throughout the day. The surgery was carried out the next day, but unfortunately, that same night he began to bleed profusely from the surgical wound. Later we were informed that during the operation a liver artery had been cut, which forced to perform a second emergency surgery to save his life.

Since that moment, his condition has been very delicate. He remains hospitalized because his hemoglobin continues to drop steadily. He has had multiple blood transfusions, but despite this, his levels fail to stabilize. He continues to lose blood and today he even fainted due to how low his hemoglobin is.

This situation has completely gotten out of our hands, both emotionally and economically. Medical expenses continue to increase and, honestly, we do not have the necessary resources to cover everything that their hospitalization, treatments, transfusions and constant care involve.

We are still in the hospital, waiting for the doctors to find a definitive solution to stop the bleeding and stabilize his health.
