Our loving father, Gabriel Montgomery, was taken from us unexpectedly, leaving behind eight grieving children, two of whom are still minors. Gabe was a proud and dedicated member of the Karuk Tribe, with ancestral ties to the Pit River and Wintu tribes. For most of his life, he served selflessly with the Karuk 1 Fire Crew (K1) and was proud of the work he did. Tragically, he did not have life insurance, and now we are faced with the heavy burden of covering the costs for his final resting place.
