This summer, I have the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica with a group from my church, City Lift, through Joshua Expeditions, to spend a week building a home for a family in need. As a nurse and Nurse Practitioner student, I’ve always felt called to be a source of healing- but I’m learning that my purpose extends beyond medicine. I believe I’m meant to be a strength in moments of weakness, and to help bring restoration to broken places.

This mission will give a family the safety and security of a home- and for me, it’s a step deeper into my calling.
