Hi, my name is Heather (Gabby and Jason’s mom), and I’m creating this GoFundMe for help supporting my two children, Gabby (21) and Jason (18), after the sudden and unexpected loss of their dad, Lance.

Lance unexpectedly passed away on June 19th at 56 years old. His passing has left his kids heartbroken. Lance was not only a father, he loved the outdoors and spent time camping, hiking and dirtbiking during his freetime. He dedicated much of his life working for the DNR, doing what he loved. He worked in wild life and later did logistical coordination for the DNR. Before college, Lance entered the U.S. Army to serve for our country.

Now, his two children are facing an incredibly difficult road. Emotionally and financially. They are doing their best to navigate this heartbreaking loss while trying to figure out how to cover funeral costs, legal fees, and other unexpected expenses that have suddenly fallen on their shoulders.

We’re asking for any support you might be able to give to help cover:

• Funeral and memorial service costs

• Lawyer fees and estate-related expenses

• Lost wages and time away from work

• Additional financial burdens that come with this kind of unexpected loss
