After years of suffering in silence through domestic abuse, our sister in Islam has finally broken free. She spent years hoping and praying for the day she and her two young children could live in peace — away from fear, pain, and neglect. Her husband never supported her emotionally or financially, and she doesn’t drive, making life even harder.

Through her patience and duas, Allah has opened a door — the council has finally given her a home. But the house is completely empty. She has nothing except the clothes she and her children own.

She’s not asking for much, just a chance to start again — to create a home filled with warmth, comfort, and safety. A place where her children, who have witnessed far too much, can begin to heal. As we all know, children are like sponges — they absorb everything around them. They deserve a future where they see their mother safe, happy, and strong.

She is entitled to Zakat, and anything you give — even £1 — will help her furnish her home and rebuild her life. Your donations will go directly toward essentials: beds, kitchen items, curtains, a sofa, and more. Things most of us take for granted, but for her, they will mean the world.
