My name is Jack, and I’m the founder of The Shieldwall Brotherhood CIC, a uk-based men’s support group built on one simple idea: when strangers become brothers, no one has to face things alone.

The Shieldwall Brotherhood brings men together through regular walks, meet-ups, forums, and online support. Many of the lads who come along are dealing with isolation, stress, mental health challenges, caring responsibilities, or just a lack of connection. Sometimes, just getting out of the house and spending time with people who understand can make a real difference.

I started this group because I’ve seen first-hand how powerful peer support can be. Men don’t always talk easily, but when they walk side-by-side or sit around a table together, conversations happen naturally. That sense of belonging and trust is what Shieldwall is all about.

The funds raised through this page will be used directly for the club, including:

Covering costs for group outings and activities

Helping with venue hire for meet-ups and forums

Transport and accessibility costs so more men can take part

Basic running costs that allow us to keep sessions regular and welcoming
