The Masjid Quba Maktab program is a dedicated youth after-school program which provides tailored Islamic education to underserved youth in the broader Flatbush community. The Maktab program provides a variety of services including Quran lessons and Islamic tutoring to impart spiritual lessons and values in the youth. Furthermore, as an after-school program, the maktab program is an irreplaceable asset to many parents in the community who are unable to afford traditional evening childcare for their children.

The Maktab program currently faces a monthly deficit of $1,500 because we accept all students regardless of their ability to pay the monthly fee in full or at all. All help is greatly appreciated!

Our yearly target is $9,000 for the entire program. The cost to sponsor a child for the month is $80, whereas the cost to sponsor a child for the year is $880.
