Due to rising costs—especially insurance—the Gloucester Fireworks Committee will host one fireworks show this year during the Gloucester Schooner Festival on Labor Day Weekend. This celebration of our city’s maritime heritage is a special moment for our community, and we’re proud to continue this tradition.

If we’re able to raise enough funds and receive support from the City, we would love to bring back the July 3rd show as well. A final decision must be made by May 21 to allow for proper planning.

We’re so thankful for the continued financial support, the help spreading the word, and the dedicated efforts of the City, DPW, Fire, and Police Departments for helping keep these shows going.
