It’s officially summer and you already know what that means: the Saint James Place Block Association Block Party is coming back!

This is one of Brooklyn’s most joyful neighborhood traditions. A day full of joy, music, culture, and community, held right here on our block.

Organized by the Saint James Place Block Association and powered by neighbors, friends, and family, this party is a 100% self-funded labor of love — no corporate sponsors, just community.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

City permits

Sound & DJ equipment

Artist and performer fees

Kids’ activities

Clean-up crews

College scholarships for students on the block

And all the little touches that make it unforgettable

We may even have another special surprise in store this year ✨

If you’ve ever danced with us in the street, brought your kids to play, or just passed through and felt the love, you already know how special this day is.
