Hi there, my name is Alexis. My husband and I are getting close to our birthing journey with our third and final child together. Unfortunately due to high Covid volumes and hospital regulations in our very small community, we are needing to change my birth plan very last minute. I was recently told that I cannot have my mother with me during my birth for support and that in the coming weeks it’s very likely that I may not even be able to have my husband and father of my baby with me as well. (As told to me by my care providers.) Glenn is 100% of my support during my unmedicated natural births and there is so much fear stirring In me that I will be left alone without my birth partner or my mother when the time comes. A midwife assisted home water birth will give me the care that I need and allow my husband and mother to be there for the birth of our rainbow baby. My birthing team will treat me with respect and make me feel the most comfortable and at ease as I can during this very important transformational time. We have absolutely no funds to cover the birthing cost as my insurance will not cover it and would be so incredibly grateful for any help we can get along the way to reach this goal.
