My name is Alexander Lopez, but you may know me as the DogFather. I am a dog trainer who grew up in Long Beach and have called it my home for the past 9 years. I own DogFamily Dog Institute and have been helping dogs and their families build stronger communication for many years. Because I love Long Beach, dogs, and the community those two things share, my business has hosted an annual beach cleanup since 2022. Our goal is simple: to clean the beach and let our dogs spend a fun day at the water. We host this event at Rosie’s Dog Beach every year to give back to our Long Beach communities.

We invite you to join us for our beach cleanup on September 1st from 8am - 11am. We will provide gloves, trash bags, and water to all who help. We will also have a giveaway for volunteers to win dog treats, toys, and other supplies.
