Are you a dog owner? If so, you likely adopted your friend from a shelter. On average, dogs remain at an animal shelter for about a week before they are adopted. While at the shelter, dogs still need to keep active and entertained.

I'm currently a Life Scout in BSA Troop 58, working towards the rank of Eagle. One of the requirements for this rank is to lead a service project that benefits the community. For my project, I will be building agility equipment for the Loudoun County Animal Shelter at 42225 Adoption Dr, Leesburg, VA 20175. I will be creating pieces of equipment, including an A-frame and weave poles, designed to keep the dogs physically and mentally stimulated. However, the materials needed are costly, so please consider donating to help give back to the Loudoun community!
