Ayukii, my name is Thadeus Williams, I am a Karuk Person and am 14 years old. I just completed the first descent down the Klamath River alongside my sister and our friends, all who are Indigenous youth from the Klamath River. As I want to continue my kayaking journey, I was given the opportunity to attend World Class Kayaking Academy for the fall semester, but with no financial support as they had no financial scholarships available. As I enter high school, it would be a great opportunity and the experience of a lifetime! However, the school is very expensive and my parents do not have the funds to cover the full costs without any financial aid. As $22,500 is needed by August 1st, anything helps and yootva for the support.
