Help support the upcoming Homer Burning Basket 2025 named OPEN - Basket of Remembrance & Unburdening by contributing to the Event Insurance Fund! Event insurance is required for a Special Event Permit. The cost for this coverage is $918.

This amazing event in Homer, Alaska, will be on Sept. 7th at Mariner Park. It’s the 22nd annual, and is supported by volunteer efforts under the guidance of installation artist Mavis Muller.

Please contribute to this year’s insurance so our grassroots community interactive, impermanent art experience can go on. Thank you.

There are other ways you can contribute such as: 1. Help with the construction of the big, beautiful basket Sept. 1-6; 2. Snacks & food for volunteers; 3. Night Watch to protect the art; 4. Parking assistance at the burning event. YOU are needed and appreciated.
