Help Fund Eco Planters for Prospect Elementary School

Hi! My name is Will Graham, and I am a Boy Scout from Troop 6 in Westmont, Illinois. Currently, I am working towards becoming an Eagle Scout, and one of the requirements I have to meet is to perform an Eagle Scout project. This is a project aimed to help out the community for years to come. The project I have chosen to pursue is to assemble and install two Eco Root View Planters at Prospect Elementary School in Clarendon Hills for the start of the 2025-2026 school year.

These planters have clear plastic sides so that students attending the school are able to view root systems and how they develop in different plants. This creates a visual and interactive way for students to learn about plant life and how it changes over time.

As my beneficiary, Prospect Elementary School has graciously decided to fully fund one of the two planters, but I still need to fundraise for the second as well as all other expenses which totals approximately $2000. For this reason, I’m reaching out to our community to ask for donations. If you are unable to donate, I would really appreciate it if you could share this with a friend or family member to spread the word. Any extra money left over will be given directly to Prospect Elementary School, which will be used in whatever way they see fit. Overall, this project will be an excellent addition to the school garden and their science curriculum for years to come.
