My name is Luke Nelson, and I am beginning my Eagle Scout service project, which will involve building a baseball scoring booth at East Sac Little League. This project will provide much-needed seating and improved accessibility for the East Sacramento community.

I have grown up playing baseball my entire life—from Little League through the varsity level—where I developed important skills such as teamwork and cooperation. After seven years as a Scout in Zoo Troop 136, I am excited to be in the final stages of earning my Eagle Scout rank. When choosing a beneficiary for my project, East Sac Little League felt like the perfect fit because of the role it has played in my life and the broader community.

A required part of my project is fundraising. While I am working on securing donations from local hardware stores, I still need to raise additional funds to cover material costs. If you would like to support my project please donate any amount you can spare.
