Hello friends, relatives and supporters of Oceti Sakowin Youth,

I am raising funds to complete the budget for a young women's leadership camp that I have organized and co-hosted for the past 3 years. It has been my hope to grow the effort to put Lakota/Dakota/Nakota youth on our ancestral homelands to do our ceremonies and learn about womanhood through culture, ceremony and community.

So many youth do not get the chance to experience these things during the school year in the education system. It has never been more important for these tyoes of efforts to be supported due to the state of reservation communities in ND/SD.

We recently received a generous contribution to make the camp happen this year. The remaining amount of funds needed to have robust programming, mentorship, present elders and supplies will be raised through this gofundme.
