The Friends of Norbury Hall Park are starting a project to clear a large area of brambles near the main lawn and steps which currently looks like this. We have purchased an expensive power tool to help us do this and have named him Basil the Brushcutter - Boom Boom!

Acquiring Basil has not been cheap, so we would welcome any donations from the local community towards this expense, however large or small to help us breathe new live into a hitherto neglected area of the park and open up a new, exciting space for people to enjoy in the park. At the moment, we only have one battery for Basil and would love to be able to purchase a second so that we can keep him fuelled for longer.
