We are fundraising to help support our beloved Alejandrina to participate in the 2025 International Council of Indigenous Wisdom Keepers of the Four Directions which will take place in September 2025 outside of Santa Marta, Columbia. She has already received a few sponsorships and we are asking the larger community to chip in to get her to the gathering in a good way. Anyone that has met or spent time with Alejandrina knows the immense magnitude and purity of her heart which shines through to each individual she meets and treats as well as through the beautiful vision of her Casa de Niños which she works tirelessly to create. We believe that her presence is not only needed but indeed vital as her role of a universal mother which touches and teaches the hearts of so many children, young and old, to the traditional ways and wisdoms of her beautiful Mazatec lineage. Please support her journey to convene with many other powerful elders looking toward sustainable pathways to peace, justice and indeed a vision of a thriving planet, with care toward environment, people and spirit alike especially through the transmission to the youth. The International Council of Indigenous Wisdom Keepers of the Four Directions has a commitment to collaborate and weave the well-being of Indigenous Nations and awaken humanity through restoring the sacred relationship with the natural order and laws of our Mother Earth and Cosmos. This year’s sacred meeting will be in the territory of the Arhuaca community, Santa Marta - Colombia. The meeting place was chosen by the consultation and direction of the spirit and ancestors through Mamo Jwikaringgumu from the Arhuaca community and member of the International Council of Indigenous Wisdom Keepers. This year the Council of Indigenous Wisdom Keepers of the World will gather to ignite the sacred fire, symbolizing the resurgence of Indigenous Peoples and for the revitalization of indigenous cultures across the globe. This gathering aims to foster connections among diverse communities, promoting understanding and collaboration. By sharing ancestral knowledge and wisdom, the council seeks to pave a path toward collective healing, reconciliation and cooperation, embracing the profound indigenous knowledge fostering a deeper understanding and respect among all people, creating pathways for collaboration that prioritize the well-being of all life on earth and the evolution of humanity. This effort requires a collective commitment to listen, learn, and share, valuing the unique perspectives and knowledge that indigenous cultures offer. Through this inclusive approach, we can address global challenges more effectively, ensuring a positive future for all.
