Dear Friends and Family,

I have a new friend who is a survivor of trafficking, and she desperately needs to relocate for her safety. We are hopeful we can raise enough money so she can relocate by June of this year.

Trafficking strips people of so much - emotionally, mentally and physically. Anti-trafficking organizations cannot provide assistance to all the thousands of survivors who need help, particularly now, when Federal grants are so uncertain. I've created this page for my friend because giving out her identifying information further jeopardizes her safety.

My friend is a woman of faith and peace, and longs to support herself and work with people who are stigmatized because of mental health challenges. Can you imagine what it feels like to live every day scared, unable to leave your apartment? What that does to your mental health? To your sense of self? To be unable to work, meet up with friends, go to church. Everyone deserves these very basic things.

I want to give her the opportunity to live in safety and build the life of her dreams. Please, join me in supporting this brave woman who just wants the chance to live free from fear.
