The Save Bangalow Bowlo Steering Committee is seeking community support to help fund legal advice and action aimed at protecting the future of the Bowlo premises and holding Norths accountable to the commitments made during the 2022 amalgamation process.

Our legal team at Watson Webb, Sydney, has commenced work on our behalf and has issued correspondence to Norths seeking answers regarding the closure of the Bowlo premises in October 2025 and the decision-making process that led to that outcome.

Importantly, this action is not being pursued for the sake of conflict. Our objective is to ensure that any future discussions regarding the return of the Bowlo premises to community ownership are conducted from a position of transparency, fairness and strength.

Funds raised will be used for legal advice and representation, governance and corporate advice, expert reports and other professional services required to advance the community's interests.
