Friends of Grenoside Park (FOGP) is a registered local charity made up of volunteers and parents who love our community park and playground. We’ve been working hard to raise awareness and funding so that every child and family in Grenoside can enjoy a safe, modern, and engaging play space.
Grenoside Park is a green space at the heart of our village in Sheffield, a place where children play, friends meet, families relax, and the community comes together. Much of the playground equipment is over 30 years old, and although it has served generations, it’s now outdated and in need of replacement.
We are working with Sheffield City Council and playground design companies to develop plans for a new, inclusive playground that will offer a safer, more exciting play experience for all children. But to make this vision a reality, we need your support.

- Fund new playground equipment that is safe, fun, and inclusive
- Support improvements to the wider park space for everyone
- Bring the community together for future events and activities
- Help us unlock further grant funding by showing community support
As a registered charity (Charity No. 1203849), Friends of Grenoside Park can secure additional funding and partnerships but that often depends on the fundraising we can demonstrate from our local community.
