9/2022 UPDATE
— Since starting this campaign, I’ve moved 3x with my rabbit since losing my apartment and jobs in Chicago and ultimately landed with family in Nevada until I can get back on my feet. I’ve thus ended up pregnant and now had my baby via emergency C section. In the meantime I’m almost 4 weeks postpartum, healing with very limited support and have resumed my job search. I’m looking for continued support as I no longer have a working phone and am looking to taking on gig work while also looking for work (and can’t do so + get around without a working phone). I’d like to stay on top of my physic and mental health, getting to my appointments and keeping baby diapered and happy. I appreciate all of the support I’ve received so far and look forward to ending the year on a high note, and hopefully comfortable in our own home by spring 2023
Hey y’all, it’s time to ask for help. My name is Friday, I’m a 24 year old black NB person who’s behind on bills and facing eviction. Friday is raising funds to cover and maintain housing and expenses until the end of the year, hoping to relieve them of the stress weighing on them while in recovery for mental and physical health struggles.
Friday works part time but with insufficient availability and a capped working limit, they cannot afford to pay their rent alone. November 3rd, they have surgery to fix their breathing ailment and will need time to heal and recover.
Friday is a survivor, living with CPTSD and bipolar II depression, working and advocating for themselves tirelessly for the past two years for an ADHD diagnosis to get the help they desperately deserve and need in order to live a healthier, stable life.
Fridays asking for funding to cover rent, utilities, transportation to work and dr visits, a driver for surgery day, food, therapy and ESA care.
Friday continues to apply and interview for jobs and hopes to secure a gainful position by end of year. With this help to avoid being displaced, they can move forward without fear and anxiety of what’s next weighing on them, affecting their day to day mental and physical capacity to function.
Thank you for reading and helping out.
