Hello everyone, we are here speaking on behalf of our father, Tomas Orellena, who has been detained by ICE. You might know him as a friend, a coworker, a family member, a man who just always looked out for others, a man who plowed snow when it was too much for our neighbors or mowed the lawn to make money on the side, or even a deli worker that served you coffee and a breakfast sandwich at Great Neck Plaza 25 plus years ago. He had a great sense of humor and always had cheer in his eyes.
Tomas raised all 8 of us boys thank God, but yet still has 5 of us at home depending on him. Michael 18 yrs of age who is in college as of now, Matthew age 15 currently in high school, Kenny age 12 currently in middle school, Tony age 11 currently in middle school, and last but not least Charlie age 6 who is currently in first grade.
Our father did everything for our family and was the head of the household. Provided comfort when we needed, provided time to watch our soccer games. Provided food to be put on the table and at some point, in our lives he sacrificed 10 plus hours to just work across the 5 boroughs of New York City just so we could live a normal life. Without him, our family is broken, and we need your help.
We are raising money for the bond needed to keep him here in the United States, along with what our family needs as of right now. Anything is accepted. With this money we will try and free our father from ICE, but this will also help our family with any expenses such as food on the table, lawyers, Etc.
We really appreciate any help during these scary hours of what we are living in the United States currently. Ice takes whoever, whenever, kills whoever when people are innocent, people who work hard, people who provide so much for a family without a feeling in their heart. Not in any moment of our lives would we think our father would get kidnapped by people like this with no sign of remorse. It can happen to anyone as shown on the news, but this is where we unite and help one another out.
We love you Tomas we hope to see you once again being the greatest father you always been. We miss you greatly.
