This is something I never imagined I would have to share with the world.
My name is Natalie, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my family.

On the early morning of Thursday, July 10, 2025, my dad was detained by ICE while on his way to work around 5:20 AM in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was being followed and pulled over by ICE officers on Mountain View Corridor in SLC, and then taken in.

For hours, we didn’t know where he was or how to find him. The system had him listed under a different name, which made locating him nearly impossible. Late that evening, we finally received a call from him letting us know he was safe — but our relief was short-lived.

The very next day, we learned he had been transferred to a facility in Evanston, Wyoming.

We are devastated. It’s been a heartbreaking and overwhelming time for all of us, and right now we don’t have the resources to move forward legally without help.
Our dad is everything to us. He is a loving father of 4 children, stepfather to 4 more, a devoted partner, and a proud grandfather to 8 grandkids.
He is the kind of man who gives his all to others. He would give the last dollar in his pocket to a stranger and do it with a smile. If you’ve had the privilege of meeting him, you know he’s full of life — goofy, compassionate, warm, and always putting others first.
He is not a criminal, he is a hardworking man who has spent his life providing for others, working long hours to support his family and build a future for us here. We need your help, I need your help.

100% of the funds raised will go toward:
• Hiring an immigration attorney
• Bond (if eligible)
• Filing fees and legal paperwork
• Transportation and communication support

Right now, our family is facing urgent legal fees. We are doing everything we can, but without a lawyer, we don’t have access to critical information or the ability to protect our dad’s rights.
Thank you for reading our story and for standing with us in this incredibly difficult time. We are doing everything we can to bring our dad home. Your kindness, generosity, and support give us hope.

If you have any questions, want to help in another way, or can refer us to legal aid, please reach out.
