My name is Darius, and I am the son of David Hines. I am starting this GoFundMe to help support my dad’s family as we continue fighting for my father’s freedom. David has been imprisoned for 35 years for a crime he did not commit—a wrongful conviction that has taken decades from him and placed an immense emotional and financial burden on our family. Despite these hardships, my father has remained resilient and hopeful, and we remain committed to proving his innocence and bringing him home.

The funds raised will help support our family during these ongoing efforts and ensure that we can continue advocating for justice without losing our footing. While my dad is still incarcerated, your support will help provide for his commissary needs and help our family continue to live and support each other until he’s freed. David has 7 children (one deceased, David Jr.) and 13 grandchildren who miss him dearly and are deeply affected by his absence.
