Help Free Benito Hernandez Duron from ICE Detention

Hello, I am Jason Hernandez, Benito Hernandez’s son. My dad has been living in the United States for 20+ years. He has had his work permit and has been doing nothing but finding a better life for himself and his kids.

We made this GoFundMe in order to raise money for my dad who has been detained by ICE for over a month. Being in there without being able to be with his family is draining him. He has been diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure just now that he has been locked in there. He has always been the one who has provided for his family and we are doing the best that we can to keep going without him.

We have had to pay over $3k for the lawyer already and it has only been one court, with still no good news. It is really hard to be paying all this money and still trying to provide for our family so we can have food and shelter. Our mom passed away in 2015 so he is the only person we have left and I don’t think he should be separated from us. Anything will help and will be greatly appreciated, thank you!
