My name is Fredy Merino, and many of you know me as the building day porter at 24

Farnsworth St.

I am writing to ask you for support for me and my family, as unfortunately we are going through a difficult moment in our lives, because our landlord requires that we move out of our current home very shortly. As you all know rents are now extremely high and we do not have enough financial funds to afford a new apartment's required security deposit & first and last month's rent. These three costs would total about $8,400. I am deeply stressed and concerned with my family's wellbeing, as I have a son who has special needs and requires his own space. Even with my partners' part time job and my job income, we are barely to make ends meet. This unexpected, substantial expense is more than we can handle without assistance.

I am sorry and embarrassed to bother you and to have to ask for your help but feel out of options. I deeply appreciate from the bottom of my heart, any amount you can spare.
