Hey, friends. On April 6, twelve inches of rain fell on Daphne, AL causing a flash flood. The D'Olive Creek behind Fred and Amy Stickney's home rose swiftly and caused major damage to their home.

They lost furniture, furnishings, appliances, and some clothing. They'll need to replace much of the drywall in their house and repair damage to the floors. They even lost a brand new water heater purchased the week before.

Fred and Amy have flood insurance, but there's a $5,000 deductible and it won't be sufficient to replace all they have lost. It may take several months before the funds are paid.
