Franky Cruz, un joven de 21 años, padre de un bebé de apenas 4 meses y recién empezando su vida familiar con muchas metas por cumplir, hoy enfrenta una situación sumamente difícil.

Hace una semana, mientras se trasladaba de su casa hacia el hospital para visitar a su hijo, quien estaba internado con un problema grave de salud, fue detenido inesperadamente por agentes de inmigración. Desde ese momento permanece privado de su libertad y teme a ser deportado.

Esta situación ha interrumpido sus aspiraciones y ha afectado profundamente a nuestra familia. Tomando en cuenta la difícil realidad que estamos viviendo, recurrimos con humildad y respeto a las personas de buen corazón que deseen solidarizarse con un aporte voluntario —cualquier ayuda será bienvenida y de mucho apoyo— para cubrir los honorarios legales y poder luchar por su caso.

Franky cuenta con un estatus legal en el país, pero lamentablemente ha sido tratado de manera injusta.

Como comunidad hispana, trabajamos arduamente, enfrentamos largas jornadas y salarios bajos, y aun así seguimos aportando a este país con dedicación y respeto.

Aun en medio de este dolor, no estamos dispuestos a rendirnos. Queremos pelear por lo que es justo.

Como su madre, ver esta injusticia me desgarrra, pero también me impulsa a luchar para que él pueda recuperar su libertad y no sea separado de su hijo, quien tanto lo necesita.

Franky Cruz, a 21-year-old young man, father of a 4-month-old baby, and just beginning his family life with many goals ahead of him, is now facing a very difficult situation.

A week ago, while driving from his home to the hospital to see his baby—who was admitted with a serious health condition—he was unexpectedly detained by immigration agents.

Since then, he has been held in custody and now fears being deported.

This situation has halted his aspirations and deeply affected our family. Taking into account the difficult reality we are facing, we humbly reach out to the kind-hearted people who may wish to show solidarity through a voluntary contribution—any help will be sincerely appreciated—to cover legal fees and fight his case.

Franky has legal status in this country, yet unfortunately, he has been treated unjustly.

As a Hispanic community, we work hard, endure long hours and low wages, and still contribute to this country with dedication and respect.

Even in the midst of this pain, we are not willing to give up.

We want to fight for what is right.

As his mother, seeing this injustice breaks my heart, but it also strengthens my resolve to fight for his freedom and to prevent him from being separated from his baby, who needs him so much.
