Help Frankie Valley Heal.
I am reaching out on behalf of my delightful brother, Frankie. We need your help.
In early April of this year, he had a tough fall and thought he had pulled a muscle in his back. As his pain got worse, he ended up in the ER and found out he had broken the 10th and 11th thoracic vertebrae. He had surgery on April 11th to replace the broken vertebrae and to install rods along his spine, then started rehab to learn to walk again. He was released on April 24th but needed 24-hour care.
On top of the surgery, he has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and Plasma-Cell Leukemia. He has been going back and forth with his trips to receive chemo and is able to walk with a walker. He is coming up on his fourth 21-day chemo treatment. With lots of prayers and a GREAT attitude, he feels he will be strong enough to have a stem cell transplant at the end of July.
Through all of this, Frankie's smile continues to be infectious. He is more rooted in his faith and sends prayers of gratitude for you all. we appreciate all the love and support he has gotten. It has given him enormous ambition to heal fully.
Frankie's sense of humor lightens the heart of all the health professionals as they work to treat and heal him. He has an amazing medical team and along with that are.... the bills.
With the high cost of extensive medical technology and his living expenses only partially covered by his insurance, your contributions to his fund will help sustain him through the many months ahead.
Please share this post on your Facebook page so we may reach as many people as possible to help keep his healing vibes going as he heads into his operation.
