Help Formerly Incarcerated Floridians Vote

People formerly incarcerated in Florida deserve to vote. That's what the state's voters said loud and clear when they passed Amendment 4  in 2018, which allows many people who've completed felony sentences to vote. Unfortunately, Florida legislators have decided  that the formerly incarcerated ***must first pay all of their outstanding court fees, which many formerly incarcerated people can't afford to do.***

Floridians are sadly stuck with this modern-day poll tax for at least the 2020 election. Let's help as many formerly incarcerated people vote.

All funds donated (minus GoFundMe's fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 fee per donation) will go to the Amendment 4 Fines and Fees Campaign  of the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition's Education Fund, the group that organized the successful campaign for Amendment 4.

I plan to donate these funds on Monday, September 21, or as soon thereafter that I receive the funds from GoFundMe. Although I had hope to be able to transfer these funds directly from GoFundMe to the FRRC, the organization's staffer informed me that I would need to raise the funds individually and then make an individual donation to the FRRC.
